Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This is an adorable little place. It feels like a 1930s speakeasy with dark wood and a high bar. Only a few tables to enjoy their delicious meals. I had the tuna with mangoe salsa which was delightful. I had to ask for more salsa because it was delicious! The portions were just right and the apple slaw was a pleasant surprise. We finished of the meal with their peach cobbler which was decadent. If you are in town don't hesitate to pop in for a treat.

My mom and I popped by C&B on a whim and immediately fell in love with the latest addition to Canal Street. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, so we sat outside under the patio umbrellas. We were pleasantly surprised to find out we showed up in the midst of happy hour! Personally, I love exploring new venues on weekdays as they tend to be less boisterous and I don't feel rushed to dine, pay, and leave. We ordered the baked brie, portobello caps, and the Ahi tuna salad, all of which were delicious. My only disappointment was that portobello caps were a single, large mushroom cap. The prices were reasonable, but the portions could be slightly larger. The happy hour special were 2-for-1 wine or beer, but with my beer loyalty firmly entrenched across the street, I opted for two different whites. The wines were served cold and quickly. Our server, Julie, was quick and considerate of her customers' needs. She helped us try new wines that took me out of my comfort zone. I look forward to dropping by C&B again quite soon to sample more of their menu and explore new wines.

Sunday afternoon sunny outdoors with dogs after Smyrna Dunes dog beach. Prompt friendly service, fantastic generous steak salad done rare, salmon salad done perfectly, delicious ice cold dark beer on tap 20 oz. for $3.50 happy hour. My second visit.

A few of us dropped in on Saturday for a quick lunch. The food was very fresh and delicious. Nice presentation. All well priced too. We ended up meeting some of the locals which was an eclectic cast of characters which extended our visit to many glasses of wine and a great afternoon. We were taken care of my Greg who also made for an enjoyable visit at this restaurant.

Not happy with Heather She was rude and unpleasant. Curry chicken was served warm. Sweet potato chips were stale and tasteless. Party of four..never again

Julie is such a great server this place only gets better with time. A prefect place to dine after happy hour on Flagler. The service was spot on Julie made the whole experience a perfect evening. The wine, the appetizers, the entrees were spot on. This is truly a gem on canal and this place rates as a regular on our list of places you must try. The tuna is amazing!!!'

I am going to enjoy writing this review because this is going to be my good deed for the day to help you avoid this time warp of an eating experience. Head on over to Yellow Dog or Corkscrew because that way, you'll actually make whatever plans you had for later on that day. At Cork and Bottle, plan on losing the cork and drinking the bottle just to make the interminable wait bearable. This place appears to employ one person and though the food was fine, when I got out of my chair I felt like I hadn't walked in years. I'm still wondering how my wrap took an hour and twenty minutes to make but I must say you'll get to be intimately familiar with their pithy tin signs. Sadly it won't make you any more full.

I went here with my mom on a Saturday night around 6pm and it was dead! There were only two other tables occupied, which kinda worried us. It picked up once we were leaving though. It's a nice atmosphere, pretty cozy, dark, and loud. There was live music when we went (singer/guitarist). I was intrigued by the Cornish hen listed on the specials board, and even though it was $20 I decided to go for it. Overall, it had an odd gelatinous gravy that was extremely salty and tasted like it was from a packet, but the hen was cooked nicely. The whipped herb potatoes were nice, but once they cooled off they were hard as a rock because of all the cream/butter in them. The "marinated farm salad" I got on the side was red onion, tomato, and cucumbers swimming in a ton of what looked and tasted like crappy bottled Italian dressing. My mom got the minestrone soup and it was divine, and she said she liked the chicken salad. Our server, holly, was wonderful! This seems like a good place to go for a glass of wine (hence the name) but the food is hit or miss. Try it for yourself!

We stopped by the Cork during our vacation for a birthday dinner. From the reasonably priced wines to the main course everything was excellent. The Pork was a favorite of our group as well as the special of the night steak with mushrooms. This is a quaint, quiet place that is perfect for any occasion.

I had the chicken ceasar wrap which was adequate. It came with a side of rice which was cold and no better than rice-a-roni. My wife ordered the 14 oz prime rib which came with 6 oz of fat. It was barely lukewarm and had no seasoning. She asked for a side salad and was told it was $2 extra. The sides she got were lukewarm and under seasoned. Very overpriced for the quality of the food. Also the place is so small that people in our party had to keep getting up so the people at the next table could get in and out. Go there for the wine but eat elsewhere. We won't be back.

Cork and Bottle was fantastic! Our waitress was wonderful, the wine list was great with a lot of variety. We ordered the shrimp scampi, the Alaskan salmon special, and the pork ribeye, and they were all excellent- the seafood was perfectly cooked. The make their own bread as well. Would definitely go back and will recommend to friends!
